Davis is the CEO of Cotopaxi, an outdoor gear brand with a humanitarian mission at its core. Cotopaxi has raised $11 million in venture capital since its launch in 2014 and is a Benefit Corporation. Davis is also currently a member of the nine-person United Nations Foundations Global Entrepreneur Council.
Prior to starting Cotopaxi, Davis was previously the Co-CEO of Baby.com.br and Dinda.com.br, Brazil’s Startup of the Year in 2012, which raised over $50M in venture capital. In 2004, he also founded, and later sold, PoolTables.com, America’s largest pool table retailer. Davis holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute, and a BA from Brigham Young University. Davis is an avid outdoorsman and recently led the first successful crossing from Cuba to Florida via kayak. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife, Asialene, and their three children.
