President, Condé Nast China and Vice President, Condé Nast international
Elizabeth Schimel, an American media executive with close ties to China, serves as the President of Condé Nast China and Vice President, Condé Nast international. She joined Condé Nast in October 2013. Elizabeth is responsible for magazine brands including Vogue, Self, Gentlemen’s Quarterly, Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Traveler, which are published under copyright cooperation agreements with various Chinese publishers. Prior to her career in Condé Nast, Elizabeth held senior executive positions at major corporations in media and technology including Meredith, Nokia, Comcast, AT&T and Bertelsmann Music Group.
Elizabeth holds a dual Masters degree from the Lauder Institute of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania – an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management and an MA in Asian Studies.
