Greg McKee

Chief Executive Officer, CONNECT

Greg is chief executive officer of CONNECT, a business accelerator focused on creating and scaling great innovative companies across the life science and technology disciplines. With over 25 years of leadership experience in the healthcare, investment management and investment banking industries, both in the United States and for 9 nears overseas, Mr. McKee brings an entrepreneurial and global perspective to CONNECT. Prior to CONNECT, he was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Nventa Biopharmaceuticals, and Akela Pharma, both publically traded biopharmaceutical companies. Previously Mr. McKee held senior management roles at Genzyme Corporation in Singapore and Boston, which was acquired by Sanofi-Aventis for $20 billion, and for UBS in Japan. Mr. McKee also served as Senior Advisor to the Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Nakayama Taro.

An active member of Young Presidents Organization/World Presidents Organization, Greg earned a B.A., Economics from the University of Washington, a M.B.A from the Wharton School, and a M.A., International Studies from The Joseph H. Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania and speaks fluent Japanese. Mr. McKee is an avid alpine climber, and ocean swimmer and lives in La Jolla with his wife Kiril and daughter Jordan Gray.
